Here are Rex and King, with 2 of their new owners. These 2 colts truly are the sweetest we have ever seen -- just like puppy dogs, as is proven here
We can't wait to find our their new official names and hear about all 4 of these young 'uns grow up together!
This is Tank, (formerly known as Newport), with his new owner. Tank has definitely added some weight and looks incredible! Tammy is the one who purchases him, for her son shown here, and she fell in love with him the minute she saw him. Tammy works at Frisco Horse Park ~
Here is Miranda, with Hollywood, a personal paint baby of Mary's. Mary was not even thinking of selling Hollywood, but with the influx of 7 horses, and not enough room, Hollywood's buddy, Adobe, was boarded apart from Hollywood, allowing Hollywood to play with the two stud colts. Well, without Adobe to shield her, Hollywood became MUCH more affectionate and outgoing with people (she was incredibly hard to handle when we first got her).
Noticing and commenting that to Kathy, with a call from Dawn, Miranda's mother the next day asking about any colts, the timing just seemed to be perfect. Both Miranda and Hollywood are learning to lunge, and do other roundpen work as well. Hollywood is learning to respect Miranda and love and appreciate the hand that feeds her ~
This is a stunning picture of Miranda with Hollywood ~ what an awesome pair these two make!!
Miranda wrote me a note as well, to let me know that "Holly"wood is doing great, and that she is in the right place for her to be right now.
An updated picture of Belle, Seneca and friend ~ Belle has lost her winter coat and turned into a stunning dark buckskin ~ Seneca is sleek & sassy and as white as can be! Both horses have obviously been spoiled & well taken care of(MUST BE THAT AWESOME DIAMOND STAR HAY THAT OUR HORSES LOVE AS WELL!)
Here is Maverick with Lexis, his new owner. We didn't even have time to post this registered ranch gelding before she scooped him up ~ and they are now inseparable!
We look forward to seeing Lexis & her mother many more times in the future!
Here is Becca with her new horse Seneca. Becca is such a trooper and got a horse that will look out for her, and they will help raise each other!
Becca's family raises hay especially for equine use, and we have their information listed under Non-Horse.
Here is Belle (now "Iza" Bella) with Becca's sister, her new owner!! Both Belle and Seneca now have an incredible home, lots of land, and the freshest hay around!!! Our horses are extremely jealous!
Here is Sarah with Brighton ~ she tried a couple of different horses but came right back to Brighton ~ another perfect match! We are anxious to get pix of Sarah & Brighton at her home ~
Here is Titus with his new owner, Terry, who called the next day after taking him home, thrilled she had him! We are anxious to receive continuing updates from Terry, and selling her another horse or pony soon for her adorable son Nicholas!
OURFIRSTBABY!
This is Sam, a baby girl, the first born to one of our customers!! She is a stunning beauty and cute as a button~
Brian and Mary bought her mother from us fairly recently and they are the very proud parents of her!
SUNDANCE!
Sundance was purchased by Briana's mother, and Bri keeps us updated regularly! Briana works at Sundance's stables to pay for her boarding ~ she TRULY loves her! She has her cantering and running now ~ we barely recognize her! These 2 make an awesome match!
"Cheyenne" was our first horse sold as 4Hooves4U.com ~ Originally named Chicken, she was our 18 month old buckskin mare and scared out of her mind when we got her ~ we couldn't even get close. We got her to come into the stall easily and handle her everywhere but her head.
Chicken was sold to Ronny and Lisa who have already started working her in the round pen and given her some shots. (Ronny and Lisa promised us she will have a better name and named her Cheyenne due to her "chy" ness :) We love the name and think it is a MUCH more fitting name!
SoCo with Lime & Pepper! Our friend Pepper knew immediately, just by the name, that Southern Comfort (SoCo) was her horse ~ and when she went to the store to get some tack for him, she also knew that only lime would go with SoCo! Pepper, mother of a two-month old (can you believe how great she looks!) took right to SoCo - now we're just waiting for her hubby to be ready for his horse! :) What a great looking couple SoCo & Pepper make ~
GAITED MARE!!!
Ebony is our awesome, gentle gaited mare. You will not believe her ride! Ebony was sold to Tracey, for her niece. She fit right in perfectly, and all you had to do was say "Whoa" and Ebony stopped on a dime! Her name may now be Beauty ~ but we know they love her!
Neptune and Mary Mary, a rank beginner, on her new horse Neptune. She looks like a pro! Mary and her husband bought their own horses from us (Brian got Warrior), and then helped purchase a horse for their friend Diesel (who else could Diesel buy, but Diesel!). We definitely have some life-long friends in Brian, Mary and Diesel and look forward to that trail ride to the "saloon" with them! Y'all are the best!
STOCKY WITH A BIG BUTT!
Diesel was our red roan appy gelding. Our new friends Brian & Mary came back for him after they got Warrior! and Neptune, for their friend, nicknamed Diesel, who is legally blind. We can't wait to see Diesel on Diesel!
Warrior! A 10 year old gelding approx 15 hands, purchased by Mary's husband (see Neptune, above). He is sweet and gentle, but needs someone with experience to handle his awesome energy, and Brian is just the man for the job. We think this husband & wife duo found their perfect matches (in their horses as well!) :) Raeanne misses riding Warrior already!
Popcorn, a/k/a Goldie, was purchased by a couple of new friends, Kim and Dan. Goldie is a dapple palamino, simply stuning! Kim couldn't wait to get on Goldie! Once she did, she knew it was the perfect pairing ~ see Kim's latest update on our Guestbook. Here Dan is finishing a session of teaching Goldie hand signals ~ too moving for words!
Moose is an older gelding that belonged to our staff member Lisa. Moose used to be a ranch gelding and rope and cut, but has some arthritis and needed to retire. here he is with his new home and friend, a small yearling. His owner also keeps us updated regularly!
Hannah Francis Renee --- this beautiful paint was bought by Rebecca, who actually came to buy Popcorn (a/k/a Goldie now)! She saw her and fell in love, and also took home Benjie, a calf Lisa saved as well! Rebecca updates us regularly, and we know their bond just continues to grow ~
Royal was our senior citizen, and his years have taught him well! He is not only regal, but gentle with a wonderful ride! Give him just 10 minutes of attention, he is all yours and he will melt your heart! Royal was bought by Jack, out of El Paso area. Jack saw his picture and instantly fell in love; after numerous phone conversations, I am sure Royal is in excellent hands, and await pictures and updates ~ thank you Jack, for buying this incredible gentleman who became family to us so very quickly~ he definitely touched our hearts.
Sundance was a trade-in mare that is sweet and gentle as could be, the perfect choice for Briana, who quickly scooped her up, even cleaning the stables Sundance a/k/a Boo stays at now, to pay her boarding fees! A true love story - and Briana keeps us updated regularly!
Diamond is our other 18 month old baby. She is a beautiful bay with great potential. She is very gentle and easily comes to you, in fact follows you around like a puppy. She is halter broke but needs to be broke. She got caught up in some barbed wire and has now recuperated and is ready for a permanent home.
Sparkles is another registered Thoroughbred bay, 17 hands! She also has been handled a lot ~ makes it easy to brush her tail, lift her feet, look at her teeth. She does not get away from you, but does need a little rein work. She is tattooed and was a money maker.
Bacardi is our newest paint. Approx 14.2 hands, she is 12 y/o and a gentle sweet mare. She needs a little rein work, but rides slow and easy. Again, we have pix of riders on her, but they are in the barn, and a little dark. Bacardi will come right up to you out of the pen, and you can lift her feet and brush her tail.
Mystique is a beautiful, well muscled 14 y/o QH mare, approx 15.1, gentle as can be! She let both Raeanne & Olivia on her, with no problem, and has an awesome short lope! Raeanne wanted to keep this one ~
