We've nicknamed this two adorable yearlings, but as they only have applications for registration, you have your choice of names to give them! Incredible bloodlines in these two can make you money with their stud fees, or they are still young enough to geld if you just want a working cowhorse. Their price is so low simply because they are not actually registered currently.
Rex is the smaller of the two colts, and has a better built butt than King, who has the better chest (at this stage, anyhow!) :) ~ look up his dam & sire at www.allbreedpedigree.com ~ WR Coco Bueno & Rex Leo Joe!
Bloodlines include Colonel Freckles, Doc Bar, Leo and Poco Bueno, just to name a few!!
Here is Rex's chest ~ already naturally developing, without any kind of round pen work at all.
We even tied him here, to see how he did, and though he was a bit antsy, he did great for his first time tied outside a trailer!
Here is Rex nosing up to Abbey, through the fence. This shot truly shows his incredible sweet nature.
He loves to nuzzle and rub against you, comes right up to you as you approach.
Here is the money shot!!! Look at those wonderful butt muscles!! His cowhorse blood shows all the way to the end ~
Here is a shot of Rex's left shoulder. We are just trying to show his current condition and great muscle definition. He continues to grow and build them up daily!
And, of course, we have numerous other shots as well ~ this is just a sampling. If you would like to see any specific shots or our whole plethora of pix, please ask -- again, we have fallen completely head over heels for these horses and are absolutely in no hurry to sell.
Here is his right shoulder.
You can see the sun already going to work on him to fade him to a chestnut during the summer. But he will be black again as soon as the sun's strenght fades this fall
King is the larger of the two half-brothers, heighth wise, but his rear isn't nearly as large as Rex's; however, his chest is built much better.
These two are extremely close, and we would prefer to sell them together to someone who could keep them both, but we also understand the right home for them may mean they are separated.
Bloodlines include King, The Ole Man, Wimpy Leo San and Hancock, just to name a few!!
Here is King's left hip. He has lightened up in the sun considerably more than Rex. Same as Rex, however, he will darken again in the fall.
Here is his beautiful chest ~ a little darker as the sun doesn't hit it quite as much.
It just seems to thicken every day, and after the move, we will start their round pen work and lunging to build their muscles up more.
King also has a much thicker mane than Rex. You can see how much the sun has lightened it, in just a short time. We are working with it to keep it conditioned and help it become glorious ~
I couldn't resist this simple, easy picture that alsow shows King's kind eye and beautiful face!
He is incredibly gentle and wants love and affection.
Here is his right hip, with a little morning dew still on it. You can see they are developing and building up.
Here is his butt!! I can't tell you just how hard this shot was to get, because he just wants to nuzzle you and be petted ~ it is just unnatural for him to turn his rear to you. There is absolutely no fear of kicking from either of these two.
And this is another sweet shot I just had fun with and created in sepia tones, just like the old west pictures.
It shows the closeness of these two ~ another reason it is tough to get great shots (they stick close together).
