Smokey is one of the seven horses we received from the Cooks.  They were told he was 3, but we believe he is 6 by his teeth.   He also, is incredibly gentle on the ground, and very very affectionate - he will nuzzle your neck if you turn your back ~ a natural flirt!   He reins beautifully and aims to please! 

UPDATE:  Kathy's daughter rode him in a playday to see how he did, and the first barrel run of his life, he did a 25!  Truly incredible for a first run.  She said he did spook at the first barrel, but once he got around it, his reining skills took over for the rest!  He would make a great playday horse!

Smokey is our gorgeous blue roan gelding!!  These horses tend to change color throughout the year ranging in color from nearly white to deep, dark blue gray.  They are one of most sought-after colors currently, and he fits the bill! 

He also, comes straight up to you out in pasture ~ no hesitation whatsoever!  

He was also loved on by Kiana, and does love any attention you give him - whether just petting, talking or scratching, he will follow you anywhere you go.

He is very easy to handle as well, and you can touch him anywhere.   He also does not cross fences or push the limits, but stays right with the rest of the herd, and near you when you are around.

He would love a new home with a huge pasture and a job ~ he is very alert, very curious.

Smokey  is not hard to halter at all ~ (nor are any of the rest of the group). 

Smokey, too,  has a big ol' butt!! 

Healthy and well defined, it shows his rear leg strength. 

It is very apparent he was well taken care of and very well loved.
